Dr. Derek Harnish and his dental team are so excited to announce not one but TWO new changes to our dental office in Fargo, ND.

The first one:

We moved!

But not far…

Our dental office is now located in the heart of downtown Fargo in a midcentury, modern gem that you are going to LOVE. But more to come on that.

The second part:

We changed our name and logo!

Riverview Family Dental is now Arch Dental.

We are still the same great dental team you’ve come to trust and will continue to offer all the services you need (and some). But we thought it was time for a name change.

As your preferred family dentist in Fargo, ND, we want what’s best for you and your family, and trust us, these two changes are going to be just that!

How did we choose our new name, Arch Dental?

Our new name, Arch Dental, better reflects how our practice has grown and of course, our new dental office, which boasts large picturesque windows and arches.

More so, we envisioned an arch spanning across and between things, bridging it all together.

Similarly, at Arch Dental we are trying to arch across the gaps of traditional approaches to dentistry with modern methods. We want to help you fully understand your health so that you can make the best oral and systemic health care choices for you – not us telling you what you need. A couple of ways we do this are through photography and open communication.

For example, instead of simply “treating” your jaw pain with a custom mouth guard, we will evaluate where the root cause of the problem stems from – perhaps your breathing or elsewhere in your body – to find a systemic solution.

By helping you make decisions about your health, we believe we can arch the gap to help get you to your most confident and healthy self. With our new practice design, new technology, and the same great dental team, this will be easier than ever.

Lastly, we also liked the idea of our new name, Arch Dental, tying into your smile’s dental arches.

What’s the new dental office like?

The closest thing we can compare it to is a spa – definitely not a traditional dental office.

We worked with a recognized local architect, Open new tab to Chris Hawley’s websiteChris Hawley, to design a space that feels serene, calm, modern yet inviting, and unlike any other dental office in town – or state for that matter.

Every detail and decision was made with your comfort and experience in mind.

Some of Arch Dental’s new office highlights include:

• Windows on all sides of the building with tons of natural light
• Vaulted ceilings with large columns in the central space
• Natural wood accents balanced with clean, white cabinetry
• A fireplace to cozy up to in the lobby
• A private consultation room with a photo studio
• Doors on each treatment room for privacy and comfort
• Ceiling mounted TVs to watch during treatment

What else has changed?

Dr. Harnish is committed to providing you with the best dental experience and that means continually updating and adding equipment and technology.

First new item:

State-of-the-art sterilization equipment.

The Sirona treatment center will effectively sterilize all instruments with the absolute highest levels of cleanliness possible today. Our operatory chairs are the only chairs on the market that offer thorough and effective cleaning of the water lines between patients – in less than 30 seconds.

Our sterilization equipment will drastically reduce the risk of disease-causing bacteria from remaining in the lines or on instruments.

Second new item:

We will soon be adding a cone beam 3D digital CT machine.

This will improve our ability to diagnose and identify areas of concern in your mouth. We will also be able to further develop our expertise at getting to the “why” of problems like snoring and grinding teeth.

In comparison to traditional two-dimensional imagine, our 3D technology will help us identify infection at a 30% greater rate.

Third new item:

One of the quickest ways to improve the appearance of your smile is teeth whitening.

In the near future:

We will add 3D printing to our already robust digital imaging/impression systems.

This technology aligns with our goal of giving you the most comfortable dental experience. No more traditional impressions and ill-fitting trays.
